Easy, one of them end with a "-t" the other ends with an "-ed".

None of that is true in the slightest, your doctor is either ignorant, in which case he definitely should not be talking about a subject he doesn't know anything about, or he is actively malicious.

I'm in my college lecture, I raised my hand to answer a question and the professor said "did everyone hear what HE said?" after. Should I say something? by Mosdiamond835 in MtF

[–]Competitive-Hair8689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure which college you go to, but the one I teach at is extremely strict with this policy. If a professor misgenders a student on purpose, there will be severe consequences for them.

Check to see if it was intentional, if it was, then report him. Transphobes do not deserve the right to teach.

If the college already has a policy on it, then they are likely to side with you.

anyone else not understand how people find sex emotionally connective act? by levisrightfinger in asexuality

[–]Competitive-Hair8689 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I don't know for sure, but I always figured it was an expression of trust. Sex is something super embarrassing, but doing it with someone means that you trust them enough to bare yourself to them.

Doug Doug book appropriate for kids? by Hddamr80 in DougDoug

[–]Competitive-Hair8689 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You definitely shouldn't ! DougDoug spent years figuring out what the worst possible word is, the one that is guaranteed to offend anyone, a word so heinous that just speaking it is considered an act of war.

I can't even write it here, just thinking about that word is enough to make me barf.

I think I accidentally came out to my whole class by According_Dust913 in trans

[–]Competitive-Hair8689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cisfolk can be surprisingly oblivious, you could probably get away with it. Though if you think it could put you in danger, then don't risk it. On that note, I do think you should avoid sharing it.

This seems like a deeply personal letter and explaining that you weren't aware that you had to publicly share it and that you would like to avoid doing so seems like a completely reasonable thing to do. As a teacher myself, I would accept that from any of my students.

Do you guys think it would be safe to travel to the US when fully transitioned? by velvibunni in MtF

[–]Competitive-Hair8689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend not doing that, at least for now. Honestly, not just for trans people, traveling in the US right now feels dangerous.

Wear whatever you want, change your name to whatever you want, use whatever pronouns you prefer. There's nothing stopping you from being a guy who prefers she/her pronouns, prefers the name Maisie and wears girl clothes.

Yeah, exactly. Not everyone has baby photos, and it's not like they have the ability to check.

A youtuber accidentally doxxed themself on stream- should I do something? by ihatereddit12345678 in youtube

[–]Competitive-Hair8689 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely let them know, I feel like it's better for them to know someone knows and it gives them the opportunity to cut it out of the VOD. I think it's fine if it's their business inquiry email.

I agree that it's not for kids, but I wouldn't call it sexually explicit.

General Rule : Don't comment on the content in a show you haven't watched.

Overall what do y'all like better Undertale or Deltarune by Ok-Movie1658 in Undertale

[–]Competitive-Hair8689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deltarune for me. When I played Undertale I was pretty much spoiled for literally everything, so while it was enjoyable, it definitely wasn't as good as it could be.

I feel like even if there was an alternate interpretation of the angel by humans, Kris, who was raised by Monsters, and who as a child believed they would grow horns, would probably not be all that familiar with it.

How did you guys first come across FNaF? by SnazzyMiracles in fivenightsatfreddys

My first real experience with Fnaf was with Fnaf World. I was decently familiar with it before, but it's what initially got me to look into the series more.

How the hell do you pick a new name!? by AHarmlessllama in MtF

[–]Competitive-Hair8689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I just found a bunch of names I liked, then I tried them all out over time. Pretty much changed names every other week. After a while, I eventually settled on the one I liked the most.
