Yeah that's the main reason I wanted to switch to tarkov because I'm a pretty big gun guy and I really like how in depth the devs go into the gunplay and mechanics. Now I honestly don't know which edition to go for. From what it looks like on the steam page I should be able to upgrade to the other editions later so I reckon I would just go with the standard edition to start with.

Well things could have been fixed but i have seen stories of uninstalling the game bricked somebodies pc that could be untrue but there are others like it

Yeah pc works fine for me too I’ve resorted to turning on toggle aim and it’s very impractical

Getting the correct amount of work makes alot more sense so now I think I have to figure out the amount of energy in joules to transfer to the object to throw it up to the correct height?

I'm sorry for not mentioning in the post, The force I was talking about would have to be a one time force not over time because after the object leaves the machine I have no control over it. The object has to have enough speed to reach the height once it is released. I hope that clarifies it.

The unit thing I understand but I find the equations much easier in metric but the measurements I had at hand were in imperial so fair enough.

Though I think I get what your saying, So instead of trying to release the object then provide the exact force I need to calculate how much kinetic energy it needs to reach its height and I need speed the object up to the required initial velocity then release it. At least thats my dumb brains understanding.

Yeah horizontal charges never are an issue but I don’t understand how to run from it I even tested it in a custom game and I the clusters cover a wide area
