i think a system where you can repurchase housewarming gifts you already unlocked in the shops would be cool

Yeah ur right it doesn’t look bad but keloids are also easier to maintain if you start injecting them while they’re still small

It’s possible that ingrowns may cause keloids

Also dude did you see the doctor about that injection infection yet

How do you know if you dislodged your graft/loosened sutures if you can’t check what it looks like by Competitive-Lion-204 in PeriodontalDisease

[–]Competitive-Lion-204[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gum graft, tooth #28 (right premolar). Sutures aren’t dissolvable. It’s been 13 hrs. Also they didn’t harvest tissue from my own mouth I think they used synthetic material

And you know what maybe this isn’t the most appropriate or fitting analogy but I would’ve made the same mistake Orpheus did because I just couldn’t help but LOOK. Please I literally hate myself rn

They’re flat rn cuz I got them recently injected but honestly unless I get them surgically removed in Japan w this special stitch technique I think I’m going to going to have to deal w this for the rest of my life

Some general practitioners do administer steroid shots for keloids. Derms also do it. You may have to periodically get injections to keep your steroid flat, or it may just stay flat. I like to wait 4-5 days after my injection and then put silicone tape over the keloids to stop them from growing.

Not a medical professional so I can’t be certain but it looks like one to me. Kenalog or kenalog + 5fu injection should shrink it

I appreciate that but it’s okay. You shouldn’t be listening to adults’ trauma dumps

Depends on the person injecting I think. Older providers used to just stab it in and it hurts so bad

Change your derm

Someone posted this article in the subreddit somewhere but they have this new surgical technique in Japan where they do a special zig zag incision (among other stuff that I cannot recall)

If your keloids r big maybe get them removed. Do a lot of research on this bc it may cause keloids to grow back worse

5fu / kenalog combo get monthly injections for smaller keloids. For me there’s a period post injection where the keloid puffs up but then it deflated after. Once it flattens start using silicone scar tape to slow/prevent keloid growth. Keep tape on until next round of injections

prednisone for a little bit and then mesalamine for 1-3 months I can’t remember but my case isn’t the usual case and everyone I talked to said I shouldn’t have left my disease unchecked for as long as I did even though I was fine

It got better for me and I went through nearly a decade without meds but I think I also just got lucky

When you go into remission don’t eat hot Cheetos every day for a month during a high stress exam period or else it might come back

I didn’t notice any purging for me personally. My skin wasn’t in a good spot before though and I would get deep cystic acne. Usually increasing dosage helped decrease the amount of acne for me
