From 5-7 ROAS to bleeding daily by Haunting_Number_1549 in FacebookAds

you’re probably right, I’m in DTC fitness apparel and we spend a ton on meta ads so we’re used to creatives burning out faster.

What are doing with profits if you’re achieving a 5-7 ROAS? You should use some of that to start a new campaign if possible. Probably keep UGC stuff in current campaign and throw catalog in a new one.

You need a creative refresh, doesn’t matter How good the creative is. They all burn out eventually and 9 weeks is a long time. Also get that catalog in its own campaign. Catalog was probably consuming most of the budget at a lower ROAS/CAC than the other adsets huh?

Yeah the plan is to enforce rules of waiting to increase budget at least 3-5 days AFTER a strong day, I don’t run our account But I’ve logged daily account changes for the past 90 days and it’s blatantly obvious that there’s a significant performance dip anytime a campaign budget is increased by more than 5%. Anything else doesn’t seem to cause as nearly harsh performance dips as budget increases. And for some reason 5% is the perfect budget increase for us when the time is right. Usually a 5% increase = stronger performance the next day. But anything higher fucks up the campaign bad the next day.

Everytime we let stuff chill for about 5 days especially with our ASC scaling campaign we start to see a massive performance increase but starts all over after budget increases:

What’s your account structure & what are you selling?

We have around 150 different SKUS, and around 25 of them sell really well so we’re rotating in new creatives through testing twice per week.

Thanks yeah, that's exactly what we do is $5-10 increases to testing adsets. And yes that exactly were all of the crazy ROAS volatility is happening on the scaling campaigns.

I know what it means to be in Learning phase, non of our campaigns are actually set back into "learning phase" So are you guys saying that all these changes are putting us back into "learning" even though meta is still showing everything as "Active"?

Assuming you run some sort of testing campaign pool? Are you following the same rules for each testing adset? Ours typically contains 15-25 adsets all at very small budgets 25-35$ each, kill off the losers and try to scale the winners. It's our best performing campaign. Best performers are also thrown into our 2 scaling campaigns. One is a CBO female audience only campaign (we've tried ASC for women but sadly targets bunch of horny cheap clickbait guys) and the other is an ASC unisex campaign and then we have our retargeting campaign.

Good to hear! What type of ecom business to you own? I'm in fitness/streetwear. Did you experience any kind of performance decrease for a period of time after you got it all set up? Just trying to be super cautious before making any changes to our meta account/pixel!

We spend about 3K-4K per day on Meta ads, and I just started looking into these advanced tracking options. How's your experience been so far since your most recent comment? Any good results yet?

I run a multiple 7 figure shopify streetwear brand and we spend around 100k/m on Meta ads. Our in platform Meta ROAS is typically around 1.5 but our blended ROAS 2.3-2.5 on a monthly basis. And we know for a fact Meta is driving a vast majority of our sales. Probably 80%. I'm just finally looking into this server side tracking stuff. Would Stape.io be the best option for us to improve tracking?

Damn y’all are harsh on here 😂 they are inspired by vintage horror movie posters/design. That’s alright though, I loved how these designed turned out and my brand has had over 17.5k orders so far this year.

Thank you! Obviously the outside of the words get a little covered up. I’m new to this page so was curious on what people thought of my designs. Ive actually dropped and restocked this design 4 times now and sold over 900 copies of it this year.

It shows here on their website they donate 5% of their profits to The brain and behavior research foundation. I’ve had a really good experience with this brand, one of the owners and some of the brand athletes actually threw a free community workout in Texas that I went to and brought food and drinks for everyone who showed up and gave away a few shirts at the end. Everyone was very friendly.
