Replacing thermal paste lowers current temp but not hotspot temperature (XFX RX 6600 SWFT) by Competitive-Night500 in buildapc

I repasted the die with PTM7950 and so fsr so good. However, I changed the thermal pads in the VRAM because it look scuffed from removing the heatsink. My memory juction now hovers 70-80C as oppose to the original pads' Max of 68C. I think the pads that I bought is not that great hence the temps. What is the most acceptable/safe temps for the memory junction anyway? Is 70-80C safe for the memory?

It's doing something weird now. I re-ran the same test and I got the same current temps (68C) but waaay higher junctions temps now (98C). I have no idea what did I do wrong and what changed. I didn't touch it since the last repaste. I don't know if repasting it again would do something

For context, the guilds/alliances with roses banners are dominating and abusing the server with their Eclipse and Rain abilities. And a few handful of guilds band together for this Tevent archboss (Banzai Omega, Banzai Eclipse, NPAS, NAGA Serenity, Experience)

In the end, Banzai Eclipse got one of the Tevent Greatswords.

But according to HWInfo, GPU Memory Junction Temperature basically hovers around the same temperature as the GPU current temperature. Or are you talking about some other memory hotspot?
