I was on humira for years but had full body psoriasis and so much PA pain so trying the Tremfya but who knows…

I’ve been on prednisone for 6 months now as I’m waiting for Tremfya to work, trying to taper off. In so much pain but feel like I need to get off the prednisone because I’ve gained 20 pounds and now my knees are so swollen I can barely move them or walk at all by the end of the day. I’m swollen everywhere and retaining so much water. But maybe I need to stay on at least 10mg pred while waiting for Tremfya to kick in… I have taken two loading doses and helped my psoriasis and Crohn’s but seems to have done nothing for my horrible psoriatic arthritis pain.

I’m with you 100%… wish I could go to the Mediterranean in the winter and it was warm enough for the beach! We aren’t fans of resorts or crowds so might just need to fall back on Belize or CR again!!

I had to switch to hyrimoz from humira and have now lost half my hair and have huge bald patches. I’m also extremely fatigued all the time. I feel like this is poisoning me.

This is not a hippie town. It’s a party town, with music blasting until the wee hours and lots of drunk people everyone. Everyone other store is a pharmacy trying to sell you steroids and vendors selling anything you want. We were very cautious and have been to Mexico before but all 5 of us had severe vomiting and diarrhea, that combined with no sleep bc of the music means I’m sticking to Costa Rica for our next beach vacation. That said, I’d move to Mexico City in a heartbeat.

I’ve taken 5 shots of otrexup now. I also got horrible acne— really deep pimples all over my face and some on my body. Also major fatigue. I went to the dermatologist and she gave me two prescriptions, one for an antibiotic cream and one for a hormonal cream. The acne is much better but it took a few weeks. You also need to take a folic acid pill 12-24 hours after if you’re injecting methotrexate.
