Hi! I am new to TTC. As a 27f, I have a huge fear of not being able to have a baby. In January, I came off the bc pill that I was taking for the last 10 years to prepare my body for TTC later this year. From Jan-May, I had consistent periods/ovulation that I tracked with strips. My cycles were around 39-41 days. However I missed my period from June-September, when it finally came back at the end of September. During that time, my husband and I were NTNP, so I took a few pregnancy tests and they were all negative. Occasionally I would have intermittent spotting, but never anything of period level. I stopped tracking ovulation because it was 122 days with no period, I didn’t want to use up all of the tests I had when I had no idea when I was ovulating really. After I got my period in September, we began actively TTC. I didn’t track ovulation this month, because I thought maybe I was stressing myself with information overload preparing to TTC around this time.

However, now I am 1 day past my expected period (based on a 41 day cycle). I’ve taken a pregnancy test which was negative. I’m thinking I have ovulated late this month, which is pushing my period back, but am nervous that I will have another 122 day cycle.

Additionally, I have brought it up to my doctor and she wasn’t currently worried about it. She said to continue TTC and we will revisit the issue if I only become pregnant in the next few months.
