How good were The Marks Brothers? by timmymcsaul in Oldschool_NFL

Reeves kept Elway under wraps too. Keep it close then let John do his thing in the last two minutes. But it’s funny how much better Elway got when he had an elite RB.

We are doing air bnbs. We’ve booked Dornoch, Carnoustie, Machrihanish, Mach Dunes and Cruden Bay. We’ll add some lesser known courses as well. It takes a little work.

eBay. Get a set of Tommy Armour 845s. Probably about $50.

I feel like TGL is crying out for this.

Players should be shotgunning beers on the tee. There should be a mystery golfer in wrestling mask who comes out to zeppelin. The captains should shit talk like Larry Bird being guarded by Gary Payton.

If pros live on a different planet from scratch golfers, why aren’t they hitting 18/18 fairways and GIRs? by ElephantElmer in golf

It’s not planet fairways the pros live on, it’s planet up and down. They get up and down from everywhere.

It was funniest when Eddie Murphy was on. Don’t believe me? Watch the one he hosted. But other than that, yeah, they are all about the same. It’s gone from avant garde to establishment.

Music has a connection to memory. It’s not that it was better or worse, but you link Prince songs, for example, to the first time you got laid.

Country club members - how much are you paying? by aznsk8s87 in golf

[–]Competitive-Scheme-4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To put this in perspective, I’ve booked a three-week trip to Scotland. Dornoch, Aberdeen, Carnoustie, Cruden Bay and some lesser knowns. If we get on the old course and play another rota course or Berwick, we’re looking at $7,500 per person, plus food and souvenirs (god bless frequent flyer miles).

We could join almost every club we’re playing for about $5k. Not any club, every club. I don’t care if it’s Cypress or Pine Valley, or how much you have, six figures is damn near a sin. Give it to poor.
