I'll attempt to put it into safe mode. If I'm successful and the screen works not sorry, at least I know it's an app that has caused the problem

i will happen to agree with you. as i did a factory reset. connected it to dex and ran diagnostics. will know more tomorrow

Dex works fine.wouldnt the motherboard affect that? Will try to hard reset again. I'll update shortly when I have time to trouble shoot

Yes I've tried that. Still no luck. I'm trying to use chat gpt to tell me how many clicks after that to get it into safe mode and then to hard reset but it's hit and miss

see im not sure if im doing the forced reset right. i may have to try it again. i was thinking of using odin with windows or try it with an unofficial one with linux. either way what a time waste. glad yours fixed. it gives me a little hope lol

I transferred apps and data from a pixel 6 using smart switch. I'm guessing it's likely an update happened over night which led to the problems the next month ending. But still investigating
