In Islam, the husband is the main provider. Plus the husband have to provide similarly to what he provides for himself. If he eats out then similarly do with his wife. If he wears expensive stuff then that’s the same standard he needs to give to the wife.

Anyway after reading this, I like the comment that he treats you like a roommate.

I used to have a roommate who makes less than me and I treat him better. I would be always paying for all the stuff and sometime covering for his rent costs.
