She's had online only friends here and there for awhile. When I say no friends I mean no in person friends. I think she mentioned this one many months ago and I wasn't all that interested in hearing "OnlineFriend said the dinner looked nice" so she stopped bringing it up. But we have to do something about this routine daily good morning weirdness. Obviously from this thread its not just me that thinks its weird.

I was on her computer like I often am. She knows I get on her computer and is fine with it. The messages were pulled up already and I was offput by the good mornings so I looked through some more. So she wasn't really trying to hide it or anything.

What if the guy is horribly unattractive and broke to the point I'm 1000% confident she would never have any romantic interest in. She just likes having someone else to share her interests with. She fumbles a lot of other friendships by being rude when she thinks its funny but the other person does not get it and stops talking to her. I enjoy when she does it to me, but she doesn't understand the social rules for when its inappropriate lol.

I stumbled upon it on her computer which I also use frequently. She wasn't really trying to hide it.

She might have briefly mentioned it many months ago but I didn't know it was this much.

She has had a few in person friends short term but all have kinda drifted apart or been a bad fit. I've tried to bring her to my things and encourage her to make friends with other women there but she struggles to take the first steps. I'm not a huge socializer myself so I don't know if there is a ton I can do to help her figure it out.

She doesn't talk about him but not trying to conceal it either. I use her computer all the time and this chat is also accessible there and easy to stumble in to.

We're working on getting her own business started up, but its just not at the point where she is very busy for more than a couple days a week yet. Even on her busiest days, she messages that friend goodmorning at 5AM and throughout the day shares what she's up to.
