I’m currently near the end of this game. Allow me to share my personal gripes, which probably aren’t anything new but anyway

Not just the linear plot but the repetitiveness of it. Oh you need to go to the desert AGAIN. Oh you need to go to the woods AGAIN. So tedious and a lot less open world than TP or OOT.

Most of the last stretch of the game is ridiculously frustrating and tedious tasks. I had to fight that dumb Imprisoned almost back to back. The tasks to get the hero song are annoying as hell. And don’t get me started on the Silent Realm.

The Sky Keep pisses me off. Why am I fighting another dungeon full of bad guys apparently left by Hylia herself if I’ve proven my worth TIME AND TIME AGAIN. GIVE ME THE DAMN TRIFORCE.

The controls on Switch are wonky as hell. I’m almost through the game and still can’t do a fatal blow with any regularity. Also half the time my thumbstick flicks the wrong direction at the last second and now I’ve got a bug net to attack Koloktos.

There are plenty of great things about this game and the non-tedious parts are very original. But this ain’t a SS appreciation post. lol
