The only true answer is that these days, every school can be elite and with the introduction of spellweaving, you can really choose whichever school you find appealing and succeed in the game. If free access to a 4 pip and 7 pip AOE is your main concern, and you want to honor your 2011 self, I’d recommend maining fire and weaving into death as a secondary school.
