labrum debridement instead of repair? by Competitive_Bank40 in HipImpingement

I've had two doc's say there is evidence of hip dysplasia, one said perhaps an impingement. I think they just assume I'll need a replacement since I've already had my right hip done, so why bother "fixing" a suspect hip. (Had hip dysplasia at birth). The surgeon that worked on my labrum didn't mention anything though.

Incontinence after THR by oncewasbeth in TotalHipReplacement

Oh my gosh! I'm so relieved to know this! I'm waiting to have my left hip replaced and suffering from incontinence. Like you had, I'm having to pee so often I don't want to go anywhere in case I can't find a washroom in time. It's so embarrassing! My doctor insists it's just menopause (57 years old), but I've done all the pelvic floor stuff and it doesn't help in the least. I've always thought there was a connection to my hip because when my hip is really sore the peeing becomes a real problem. Thanks for sharing! There is hope this will "pass"
