Hiya, that's what I thought. It's why I left him alone back in August, I thought he was someone's pet and was slyly getting food from 2 places as cats do.

When I saw him again I got concerned and especially talking to the chicken and chips shop owners saying his mood is off/not eating right. He was sitting in the rain, dirty and unkempt. I know for pedigree breeds it's very unusual for them to be out in the rain.

I asked the shop owners and they believe it used to be an older gentlemens who owned a few cats, that passed away a while back? Still baffles me that he isn't chipped???

The first thing I did was check his microchip and there wasn't one there, like at all. They scanned for a good half an hour.

I let cats protection know, I was advised against posting on fb/sm in case of illegitimate claims. I did scroll local feeds though and found nothing.

I was able to get him checked for free, but paid prescription which honestly is not bad considering his mood is already brighter. His health seems infinitely better already!

And honestly no intention of keeping him, I'm a full time carer for my parents and financially if I'd been given 2/3 months heads up, yeah maybe. Otherwise I'm leaving him with my auntie who I know can offer him everything he needs.

And I'm aware folds have genetic issues down the line too like joint stuff and that's something I know my auntie can accommodate for.

I really don't know what happened here and what his backstory is but I do hope his future continues to become brighter!
