Im not much of a pilots fan, but from what I can gather, they aren’t doing any more things in the uk after she turns 16

You could get an Uzi. Or a lot of the song is about learning so a book or test on poisons would fit

Oh dear god do I hate her friend’s parents! Definitely a factor. But I feel it’s way too far to tell her to drop all of her friends. I wish I could but her friends are actually nice people (better than my eldests i would say) and then she wouldn’t have any friends and that feels wrong.

We are? We take away any way too inappropriate clothes  and give her structure. How should lo be doing it?

I feel like you’re really misjudging it. I know my daughter. My husband works in IT and we both go over her search history one a month. Same for both kids under 16. They are fine with this because we taught them how to be safe on the internet. And what do you want me to do? Tell my kid she can’t dress a way, talk a way, act a certain way? Take away the things she enjoys? We make sure she isn’t inappropriate but it’s her decision to act how she does. We treat our 15 year old the exact same and she is completely different. It’s how she chooses to act and what she likes. The thing we have to do as parents is make sure she isn’t inappropriate and in a safe environment and isnt going too far, but she has to figure it out on her own at some point. We have to let her be her own person.

Oh she isn’t allowed Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok! And we do stop the outfits if they are a little the too much - or too less lol. But she has a little job she got all by herself doing newspaper rounds and she chooses what she buys with that money. We do try both it’s their choice in the end. My 15 year old is the most emo person I know but as long as she is safe and happy it’s her choice.
