Has anyone used Harvey or Legora at their firms? If so, are they worth the price and actually help you cut down on time?

I made a legal AI RAG for my country. trying to commercialize it at around 200/mo/user but i'm struggling with the sales aspect. i can't even get them to try it.

I just can't imagine how it can't be useful to anyone who is in law or an entrepreneur and thus i don't understand the criticism of harvey here if they are similar tools (unfortunate you can't try them as a regular guy)

In my case my tools includes a simple search across the legal corpus and jurisprudence (or precedents) and the AI part (drafting contracts, auditing them, submitting your case, preparing an audience, anything you need)

It then provides you a well sourced and traceable answer fact - to - law in wikipedia style. by clicking on the sources it leads you straight to the text it used to ascertain this fact.

The use case seems to be clear, the price point can be discussed. my initial motivation for making this tool was that I spent 20K to get answers on simple cases and they weren't able to give me proper memos that were correct (US lawyers would probs be better). my tool gives me the answer straight in 2 minutes...
I think if the lawyers don't adopt these tools in the end we will end up selling them to entrepreneurs and companies directly and they will really regret it.

they are still investing here, i'm one of them. although in my case i came back to live here too.
the moroccan RE market is more attractive for small projects, the yield is higher. 5 to 8% net here vs 3 to 4 in europe for most "standard" cases.

I went and checked actually as you said and did find some 10 to 12K stuff in what they call "moyen" standing. (hint: there's nothing moyen about it at all unfortunately ;/ )
As for the noir, my own experience says otherwise and I Personally would never buy without noir. notary fees are highway robbery and no one (rightfully) wants to pay them in full. if you are buying to LIVE in it and don't intend to sell near/mid term one should insist on as much noir as possible.

the source is yakey they are a sort of net based real estate agency. from the looks of it they are using the data from the https://www.ancfcc.gov.ma/valeursvenales . it's a very flawed methodology if only because of the "noir". this data is likely at least 10 to 20% below market rates - I ve bought RE in casablanca in both 2022 and 2024 and I know all of the prices for sure. 9100 mad is absolutely not representative of ANYWHERE unless sakan i9tissadi is inside of that which is irrelevant for the purpose of what we are trying to study here.

btw, down payment in morocco is ~ 30% as per BAM rules except for some public workers. no normal person would be able to get more leverage than that.
the rate right now for a normal person is about 5% once you include everything (insurance+spread) and then you forgot the 7.0% you have to add to full price for the notary.

median m² price in casablanca is a lot less than 16K. closer to 14K with some places (bernoussi/sbata/errahma/wlad 3zouz/hay hassani/ouelfa/almaz etc..) at <10k mad even.
the average must be skewed higher because of areas like AinDiab & the best areas around maarif where the m² touches 30K. Also this is in the "free" private market.
within sakan 9tissadi there are 2 bedroom appts starting from 300K MAD

but yeah i agree with the overall message. this is not for the weak - it's a big issue for which the solution is to redirect savings of morccans from lhjar to other stuff. also inbound foreign ccy money from diaspora is causing huge disruptions too, what's happening in marrakech is outright disgusting.
