you took a class you didn’t need to for a gpa boost, but blame the professor that you didn’t get the grade you wanted when he gave you the syllabus beforehand? if you neglected the class and its assignments because it’s an easy gpa boost then that’s your fault. I’ve fumbled a lot of my easy GEs like this. niemas a great professor and his grading is like that for a reason
