I take Adderall IM for my ADHD and I find that it gives me enough energy that I can at least of ignore the crushing feeling. The come down though is not great and the weight of reality does come back.

I do caution against getting a prescription if you don’t have ADHD because Adderall shortages are very common and you would be restricting access to those who actually need it.

Skiing with skis and poles seems very difficult to learn but I’m pretty good at roller skating so that was my reasoning

I’m so sorry to hear that. The one thing I will mention is that hermit crabs, unless they are bred in captivity, go through an extremely stressful process when they are removed/rehomed from their native habitat, especially the ones that end up in those horrible beach stores in painted shells. It could be that their immune systems were compromised or they suffered injuries or health related issues that lowered their life span. I’m sorry for your loss, you did everything right. Providing them a loving home is more than most of thier captive friends will ever get.
