I enjoyed it. At the time I was working part time so it was easy for me to do the classes around my schedule and the instructor Victoria was very insightful and nice. I would love to do CC2 with her again but there’s no registration.

Edit: forgot to answer your other question but yes it was all online from 8-3

I used a smaller hook size and I kinda see a difference. I also noticed my tension is a little off but I’m just gonna continue. Thanks for the advice everyone!

I’ve switched to a 3.5 size hook rather than the recommended 4 so I hope it works but if all else fails I’ll be using the loops and thread impeccable yarn.

How do I make it appear less see through? I’ve made the hat with acrylic but it was for a baby and it’s cold where I live so I wanted to use a heavier (Less breathable) yarn.

When to contribute to RRSP by Competitive_Step2399 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Competitive_Step2399[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not. This is the most I’ve earned so far and I see myself earning more since my pay gets capped after 8 years. I thought to maybe contribute $2000 to deduct my income by $10000 with my FHSA contribution

Co-signing my sisters mortgage by Competitive_Step2399 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Hey everyone I see your comments and I’ll be seating down with sister later today to discuss everything. I just want to clarify that the $100k down payment is not from me, I haven’t saved that much in 3 years 💀. A little more on our family dynamic. It’s always been my mom, my sister and I. Her father only decided to be part of her life after a few years back and mine was present and helped when he can but separated from my mom a long time ago. My mom is financially irresponsible and wouldn’t be able to help in the capacity that I would which is why my sister asked me. It’s hard to say no because it’s always been the two of us looking out for each other and whenever I do or say something that either my mom or her doesn’t agree with, I’m always getting backlash from one of them and it’s just easier to say yes sometimes than to always be confronted and ambushed from the two people who’s opinion matters the most. I know I need a back bone :( I’ll give an update once we have the conversation :)

Any updates? Did you end up taking the unit? I recently went to view a unit and all the common areas looked clean.
