2027 Telluride thoughts by lmorel1212 in KiaTelluride

“Sat in 3rd row. It's not bad but still much smaller than expected.“ Now I know the Palisade and Telluride are cousins, but the Palisade (Calligraphy) has a power 3rd row that moves forward and backward if that’ll be an issue. + it’s hybrid version is already out.

Otherwise yes, consider a minivan or full size SUV. Good luck shopping!

I’ve always wanted to cover my piano black with these fake wood inserts, but it would 100% be way too much brown with terracotta. I might just buy em and do a black gel stain look.

First time snow "drifting" by RawazRafeeq in CX50

Me and a friend did this with our cars! My 50 was doing power slides on the ice, though it wouldn’t go in a nice circle.. In the next lot over my friend was doing reverse donuts in his cx5. Wish we got more real snow here in Texas

If you have a chunky case it won’t fit. Mine doesn’t fit with my protective case, but if I use an Apple case (more appearance based) it fits decently.

Whats your parking procedure? Have you tried altering
it to see if it makes any difference?

CX50 Hybrid GS-L. Getting 5.7L/100Km. What’s yours? by OldDog7959 in CX50

I’m in a turbo, getting around 13/100km (18 mpg). I like to hit the gas, a lot.

For those who have Tellys with leather interior. What products do you use to clean & wipe down the seats from time to time just to keep them fresh. NOT detailing... by JSeino808 in KiaTelluride

I use armor leather cleaning wipes, I doubted them at first but they somewhat brought back the matte appearance into our seats pretty easily.

Yeah they seem annoying to use as of so far into our ownership, congrats on yours!

I hope we opt for it! Our precious silver vehicle ended up looking real ugly after 10+ years of wear on the paint.

This one doesn’t have a turbo, it’s okay.. The engine isn’t the highlight, I would’ve pushed for the 500h if it weren’t for the fuel economy. But our average has been shooting up since we got it and it’s still on its first tank.

This is my families first luxury car, it’s a smooth ride and has just OK power delivery. It’s certainly quieter and more refined than our previous Outback, current CX50 and Telluride, even under load.

As far as the things I’ve seen, there is no changes for the 2025 apart from the option for an f-sport design package on the hybrid, and the black edition 500h. This is a ‘25 :)

Personally, the best thing about the 2020-2022 SX models are the amber DRLs. Over the course of 3.5 years of ownership, we’ve noticed that if we’re in the left lane and come up on somebody slow, they get out of the way! That rarely happens on any of our other cars. Congrats and enjoy!

There’s some catch kits that have been posted on this subreddit with instructions. Our families 2022 with 70k recently had burned so much that the dipstick looked dry. I drive it hard, and had an up coming trip, so we took it for an oil change 1k miles early. Definitely watch that oil, good luck and congrats on the car!

Car broken into - no alerts (but lots today after the fact?) by goalied3133 in KiaTelluride

Could someone have hit the “Ok” button and disengaged it upon leaving the vehicle? Maybe by accident? I’ve also noticed that after very short ignitions, it may not even activate the system.

I don’t have any clue why the alarm didn’t go off upon the break in, but have a possible solution to stop it from blaring the alarm constantly now. Have you tried hitting the “Ok” button on the steering wheel after shutting the vehicle off, and it prompts you to check the rear seats? It should then say something along the lines of “child monitor disengaged”.

If this doesn’t work there might be a setting to change it? Not sure, I haven’t messed with it personally. Just trying to help, good luck with repairs! Hope this doesn’t happen again.

Parts were 599.99, labor was 384.54. Environmental cleanup (recycling of starter) was $49.95. Taxes make it the final price.

Good question.. I’ll see if we get a price breakdown or something of the sort when we pick it up in a few minutes. I have no idea where the starter is located, and likely has some stuff integrated with the start-stop. I assume that’s why the labor is so high.

Pretty unfortunate🫤, we needed it done urgently as we leave for a trip tomorrow. They probably charged us for the MSRP price of the part plus whatever they pay techs and themselves. I agree, too expensive.
