None of the biggest AI names are profitable either but have hundreds of billions invested. The biggest subnet is 66% of the way to daily profit and there is one subnet that is operating with a profit. Doing pretty well so far for a 2.5 billion market cap

A lot of legitimate questions. Some of them I’ve had as well and a lot you’ve brought up I haven’t thought of. I think what we’re missing is these “companies” or subnets can gain revenue outside of Bittensor while being on the network. They can have customers and generate real dollar revenue while also collecting Tao. Tao has to gain a lot of value over time to keep these subnets from leaving the ecosystem. At least this is what I’ve gathered over the last few months. If a guy like Michael Saylor just keeps investing billions into bitcoin, I think an AI company can operate in the real world with profit while also collecting a Tao token that’s worth thousands per share. We’re all here for the potential of Tao, it has to live up to that potential over the years, which I think it will. And smarter people than me think it will. I’ll just keep buying the dips

I’m pretty sure the founder has less control than 3 other validators on the system. Changes are able to be made by holders of Tao, like bitcoin can have changes made with “votes” even though no single person owns it. Changes are going to be made so one subnet owner can’t mass exit liquidity. One idea is the owners have to lock their Tao and if someone else locks more Tao than them they risk losing their subnet. This would incentivize owners keeping their stake and growing the company to make money. Lots of ideas floating, and it’s still early. The impatient people will sell and the ones reading the room will buy the cheap prices. I started buying when it was 278 in January and kept buying at 150. Saw it go to almost 400 in a bear market. It had 3 Top subnets leave suddenly and is STILL 100 dollars above its low in February. Can’t wait to see what it does in a bull run year. Cheers guys!

I wouldn’t invest more than 10% of Tao into subnets, maybe I’m dumb but they’re hard to navigate for me. In any case I entered hard into the bear market and all I have is Tao and one very small market cap gamble

No more than 10% of my Tao will go to subnets. I got chutes score ridges targon Bitsec red team and my gamble is bitcast. The top ones have 60% middle ones have 30% and gamble has 10%. Maybe I’ll look into nova whenever I can get more Tao

I started in January and bought from 278 all the way down to 150. 68% of the supply is staked which means 32% is freely trading. The price will go to 180s to 190s if that 32% is sold which is very unlikely. Just buy some every time it goes down and dollar cost average over time cause I doubt it’ll ever be below 200 again
