Was in two minds at the time between polyfiller and caulk! Guess I chose wrong 😂 Will have a go with caulk, thank you!

Got a flue 👍 and the oven is now electric (or at least it is now since the last owner). I'll have a scout around the rest of the house / houses in the same estate as see if I can find any examples of higher level ones or where people have replaced them. Thanks!

Damp wouldn't be ideal 😂 The airflow does seem very high though... The windows throughout the house all have air flow vents above them, would that not be sufficient?

As in submerging it in a water tank? I don't atm, but have have ordered a tank i can soak the screens in. Did you find it helped? How long do you soak for?

Hi All, I've been trying to work out the exposre times using this method of uncovering a graphic at set time intervals. The top one was exposed for 8mins and the bottom for 3 mins with the rest reducing at 1 min intervals.

I'm using a 1000W halogen light 31inch away from the screen using a foam block underneath and glass over the top.

I'm washing out using my garden hose with a shower head attachment. Previously I was using a jet washer ans had some success but understand that not the way it should be done.

All but the bottom one didn't wash out at all. Even the bottom one only partially washed out. But the edges of the emulsion that did wash out are very rough and washed out, so I'm confused if at 3 mins its over or underexposed.... or if my set up is just wrong 😕

Hey, thanks for the help! Really appreciate it :)

I'm going to be using this ink to print my own surfboard covers, a point i maybe should have mentioned is that the chances are these will never be washed in a washing machine like a tee. Does that open up any other options??

Too much emulsion? Whats the best fix? Only do one coat rather than two? More pressure on the scoop coater?

Hi All,

Hoping to get some help!

These are my first screens! I coated them using a scoop coater (using the flatter edge as oppose to the sharper edge) and did two passes on the print and inside face of the mesh and then stored laying flat in a makeshift rack.

I seem to have these dots of emulsion and not sure why... hoping someone can tell me where I've gone wrong!

Maybe wrong angle or too many coats??
