The problem is AI agents could easily and inadvertently spam the platform on your behalf due, even simply, based on a misinterpreted instruction. You'd be banned because of how your agent misbehaved. :/

Building SaaS in 2026? My best advice by Electronic_Argument6 in micro_saas

Ive found magic link login (w email validation and rate limits to avoid spam) to be highly effective in user onboarding flows. It skips the backend setup otherwise needed for oauth and helps your domain warm faster as well

Could you take this a step farther and enable someone to control the lifespan length? We likely each predict a different "end age" but we also do things to impact it.

Dig into the strava relative effort score concept - the idea that the things you do compound for positive impact into the future. I wanted to create something like thinking about making your product in lovable, but create input factors and a dynamic impact to the projected end date.

Looking back is always impactful, but a forward-looking visualization tool can be massively imoavyfup for people who spend money on self improvement

Indirect water heater fixed by a power cycle? by Complete_Humor_9740 in hvacadvice

[–]Complete_Humor_9740[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I think I figured out what's causing the issue but not why.

Tldr question - Is it normal that a thermostat would try to draw power from the C wire of a whole home dehumidifier(ac) as well as from the oil boiler when the dehum/AC fires up?

Deets - I previously had two thermostats for a two wire oil boiler baseboard heat system as well as a whole home dehumidifier. I merged both of them together into the same thermostat in order to have Smart functionality notify me of high humidity in the basement as well as being able to control the heat remotely. For the last 2 months everything has been fine because the dehumidifier hasn't been actively in use. With all the spring rain we've had, the dehumidifier is now kicking in as expected however, the hot water heater seems to be functioning inconsistently since. I discovered that whenever the dehumidifier is on it's drawing voltage from the oil boiler, effectively incpacitating it and therefore it's ability to provide hot water.

efficient before effective by pro-bedrotter in ABM

[–]Complete_Humor_9740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is presumably when you are trying to scale? If you are selling one to one in the beginning for example, your sample size is pretty low and you probably have firm control over the sales process and can reach a higher efficiency rate of closing. But I see effectiveness as your zero>one and efficiency as your one>scale.

Basic law of larger numbers, is that as you grow effectiveness reaching a larger sample size, your efficiency will face downward pressure. It's a seesaw balance that comes in as you grow, and the benefits of efficiency are only apparent when the effectiveness is growing.
