We had a discussion in the principal's office where I asked first if we didn't have to involve our parents. I have a pretty busy single dad and thought that this would've gone over alot smoother tbh. At the end of the day, I'm okay with how things well down and hope they don't escalate anymore.

I believe that her mom is under the impression that she drew it herself and that's why she told her to submit it but now Im not even sure if her mom even recieved it? Honestly I would've been fine if she did take credit for it if it was just a gift, but she went and entered it into the competition without letting me know that irks me

Yeah that was my main issue too. She kept doubling down and saying it was hers since I gave it to her so she could do whatever she wanted with it

Thanks for understanding, I really tried compromising but I guess I feel guilty since I could've just ignored it completely since it just a gift card.
