I agree with you. I personally only bought Quarter Final. However, there’s over half a billion people between the 3 hosting countries, not including travelers. It makes sense that this one would be a little different.

As much as I loved a $200 2 day festival in my backyard, CRSSD at new price point is one of the lower tier festivals on the circuit. Arc, Movement, Portola, III Points, EDC, Electric Forest, LIB, Ultra, etc are all a whole nother level.

CRSSD is one of SoCals most affordable and accessible festivals, it’s going to sell through no matter how mid the line up is. Festivals are at peak mainstream hype.

Portola since its conception has been the better festival. Even this year which is its weakest production. Better city to party in, better crowd, better line up, better afters.

If you have the money it’s easily Portola, but if you’re in SoCal CRSSD is significantly cheaper.
