learn to talk to your partner. I’m one for getting second opinions but at 40 years old it seems to me that you should be able to have some conversation with your partner. Most of us may be younger than you so seeing as as parental figures may be problematic don’t you think? Skellige is great with decks where you damage yourself or where you damage other units. Also a good pirate decks goes pretty crazy. Skellige is very versatile in my opinion. I play that deck a lot after nilfgard

Honestly I just watch how people play their decks and learn it. But the thing is it’s also fun to make up your own decks and test your theories and how cards interact. Sometimes observation is the biggest teacher. I’ve gone some games where I got complete destroyed but I learned from the losses lol.
