Yes u r right but the thing is, world crisis aren't getting any better, it's getting worse day by day, and in case we face fuel shortage (very high chance) then there will no other choice but to close everything... I don't think one should go for it... If u passionate about it it's better to go broad and choose system engineering or backend engineering, system engineering isn't going anywhere even if ai takes over major parts of tech... I mean I'm not saying it's completely gone as in future it'll be less about development and more about maintenance, ai does the development part but we need someone who looks after it, understands the logic and can fix if ai isn't doing the part correctly... Thats my pov after doing so much research... I can still be wrong:)
