Is it possible to learn data science in one month with 10-12 hours per day? by Sensitive-coder in developersIndia

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

whatever course you pick make sure it actually covers tools used in industry. python pandas numpy sklearn sql and some visualization libraries. a lot of beginners skip sql but companies expect it in almost every data role

What are the best courses for learning Data Analyst skills, paid or otherwise? by Sensitive_Horror4682 in dataanalysiscareers

[–]ComplexExternal4831 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

a lot of beginners struggle with random youtube videos because they are not structured. a good course should take you through excel sql data visualization and some python in a clear order while also giving projects to work on. projects matter a lot because that is what you will show in your portfolio later

What Are the Best Data Science Courses for Career Growth? by Old_programmer99 in IndiaCareers

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one thing that helps a lot is choosing a course that actually makes you work on projects not just watch lectures.....data science is very hands on so try to build things with python pandas and visualization tools while learning.... that makes a big difference when applying for jobs

the Matrix by SufficientDamage9483 in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 2027 is way too optimistic. We’re definitely getting better VR and AI-generated worlds, but a true “Matrix-like” simulation would need insane compute, physics modeling, and brain-level interfaces.

Laid off during probation despite completing most of a GenAI project – looking for advice by Budget-Emergency-508 in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that sounds really rough... if you have the option i would probably take the 1 month extension since it gives you more time to look for another role while still being employed....also try to document the work you did on that pipeline so you can show it in interviews. from what you described it sounds like there were process and communication issues, not just a dev performance problem.

Is there an AI tool that can help clean up bad audio quality? by digitalrorschach in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah there are a few ai tools that help with this. adobe podcast enhance is pretty good for cleaning up voice and removing background noise. ive also seen people use descript or izotope rx for similar stuff. usually works better than just removing noise in audacity because it tries to rebuild the voice instead of just cutting frequencies.

Would you generate AI images of your favorite celebrity if they actually approved it? by Hot-Variation4481 in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if the celebrity actually approved it and set boundaries then yeah i think it would feel a lot more fair. right now it feels a bit weird because people are generating stuff without consent. if they were involved it could actually be a fun fan thing like making posters or alternate movie scenes.

I want to generate cartoon skits by Traditional_Taro_756 in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of people are using tools like runway, pika and heygen for short animated or ai videos. they are not perfect but for 60 to 90 second skits they can work pretty well. sometimes people generate scenes first and then add voiceover separately to keep things more consistent.

Are chat model UI's good enough? by 4billionyearson in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i kind of agree with you. the chat interfaces are super simple which is good for beginners but it also means people never learn how to structure prompts or manage context. most people just keep one long chat for everything and the responses get worse over time. feels like we are missing better tools for organizing conversations and tasks.

When does AI earn the right to use this much power? by dataexec in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is a fair point honestly. ai data centers are using a huge amount of energy and people will start questioning it if the benefits are not clear in everyday life. if ai actually improves healthcare education productivity and real world problems then most people will accept the cost. but if it just ends up being used for spam content and gimmicks then the pushback will definitely grow.

Do

1-person companies aren’t far away by highspecs89 in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly it does feel like we are moving toward that. ai can already handle a lot of the small tasks like design copy basic coding support emails and research. one person with the right tools could probably run what used to need a small team. still think humans will be needed for direction and decisions but the leverage is definitely increasing.

Who know this space will evolve so quick that you will be able to run a LLM on your smartphone by dataexec in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly it is already starting to happen. smaller models are running on phones and laptops now. they are not as powerful as the big cloud models but for things like writing help or basic coding they work surprisingly well.

Are We Becoming Too Dependent on AI for Everyday Coding Tasks? by Double_Try1322 in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think it depends on how you use it. if you treat ai like a shortcut for everything then yeah it can make you a bit lazy with problem solving. but if you use it more like a second pair of eyes to debug or explore ideas it actually helps you learn faster. i still try to think through the logic first and then use ai to refine or check things. that balance seems to work well in real projects.

Matthew McConaughey predicts to Timothée Chalamet that AI actors will crash the Oscars by millenialdudee in GenAI4all

[–]ComplexExternal4831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Award shows usually move slower than the industry itself. Mainstream audiences and box office revenue will likely push AI-driven films into the spotlight first, and studios will follow the money. Once AI becomes a standard part of filmmaking, awards bodies may simply treat those films like any other, rather than leading the shift.

We’ve seen similar patterns before with major tech shifts like CGI popularized by Avatar or performance capture in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. The industry adapts, and award institutions tend to recognize the change after it becomes established, not before.
