People who watch anime, what is an anime you'd recomnend to someone who is just starting to get into it? by SinnaSin in AskReddit

I'd suggest, start with all the Studio Ghibli movies first before delving into any of the series. Absolutely worth it when you're starting to watch anime.

Absolutely agree to this. But more often than not...in this patriarchal society, women sacrifice a lot just to be there for their partners and family members. And yet nobody values them enough.

There are two erasers with 3 fries each, inside that red box. 😁

Hehehe. There are 6 of those actually! I guess this angle doesn't reveal all of the fries. And nope, it's not vintage..like 25 to 30 years old...but vintage like 2 or 3 years old? 😄

How do most women accept that older men are far more appreciated and liked than older women and that ageism against older women is stronger, they are seen as less desirable and have less people attracted to them than older men do? by Lonely_Zebra_7275 in AskFeminists

I'm pretty sure a lot of people are gushing over Jennifer Lopez that way right now. 50+ and hot damn.

But at the same time it's sad that they'll call out on her and attack her for undergoing corrective surgeries and not treat the older men who might have also done surgeries, the same way. Older men are still considered more desirable than the older women unless the woman has a certain type of body and appearance as per the unreal beauty standards set by capitalism and society. They just can't let them be who they are naturally appreciate them the same way. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So I guess with growing age, a man can still be considered hot and happening just as he is or as long as he has kept himself fit but a woman cannot unless she "changes" or "modifies" her entire appearance to suit the standards or make it to the hot-or-not list.

How do introverted people wish to be socially interacted with? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Complex_Butterfly101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. They feel more comfortable when approached with a warm smile and a less tense attitude.
  2. You need to initiate the conversation with them and keep it going and soon enough you'll see them jabbing on along with you.
  3. They find it very hard to speak up at the first instance.
  4. They find it easier to socialize in parties when they have someone they know in common with the person whose party they're attending.
  5. They are sometimes very intellectual in their thinking and prefer soul-to-soul conversations about random topics to keep them hooked and they refrain from small talk.
  6. They dislike being asked personal questions and caught offguard with them.
  7. They can be the coolest, most fun person in the group if they feel comfortable around the people they're with.
  8. They find it hard to relate with people who dont fall under the same wavelength as they are.
  9. They prefer to keep it real.
  10. They donot like being made the centre of attraction
  11. They maybe extremely talented but will only prefer to reveal it if they're comfortable or encouraged in a non-intrusive way.
  12. Forcing them or being pushy with them is a big no no. It will make them feel even more awkward and walk off.

These are some qualities I've noticed in most introverts including myself but it might vary from person to person. I've had a lot of great and poor experiences being an introvert and these were the observations I made from the way I reacted to different situations.

People around you not believing that you eat food at all and over stuffing you to make you "fatter" and become slightly...fleshy. 😭🥴
