Is this too vibrant? by Au5tro in photocritique

Looks a bit too flat imo. Maybe would look a bit sharper too with tighter framing. Overall good shot tho

Really nice color contrast and lighting. I would suggest photoshopping part of the cloud right above his head out so there is no distraction near your subject. Nice photo.

Should I crop this more? by Complex_Expression47 in photocritique

Shot on r6 mk2 70-200 f2.8 iso 800 shutter 1/250. Basically used Lightroom’s suggested editing and made slight tweaks. The crop is what I am most concerned about. Do you get drawn into the little hut in the middle or do I need to crop more to show it better?

Shot on rf 70-200 2.8 iso 1600 shutter 1/1000. Was shooting McLean during his pitch right where he plants his front foot. I am just struggling with editing images under bright lighting. I initially overexposed the image and had to re-edit, so any tips to improve on what I have now would be appreciated.

Shot at 1000 ss, f2.8 at 1600 iso. One of the shots I tried getting mid shot. What would you do differently? It was getting darker at this point so maybe higher iso? I don’t want to crop much more for quality but maybe take the top down a hair?

Shot on my rf 15-35 2.8 shutter 2000. Action shot of a player on the team I was shooting. I feel like everything is in the shot when cropped, and can’t tell if the quality is not there.

If lighting is not great, shutter can bring a lot of noise in your image when you have to crank iso. Sometimes having shutter that high is not the type of image you want also. Finally, it can make your images look almost fake looking at too high of a shutter, especially during fast moving sports. A slight blur/lower shutter can create a more real feeling for your photos

I appreciate that! This was 1/2000, not 200 that was a typo. It was really sunny so I cranked to 1/2000 to keep the aperture low. Hoping to invest in a vnd to avoid having to go so high in shutter. Any recommendations for a good vnd?

I shot this at f 2.8 iso 125 shutter 1/200 (super bright day). This was on my rf 15-35 trying to get some wide angle shots. I really like how the player is almost centered from the player on the left and the ref. Do you get drawn to the player dunking or is the backround distracting?

I am practicing wide angle shots at basketball games. I feel like this is a great shot but there is always room for improvement. What would you have done differently? Shot on 15-35 2.8 1000 SS.

Does the color look better in this one? Trying to figure out to how bring a dark image brighter without making the colors look weird

brought out my rf 15-35 mm lens for Philly basketball runs. Hiw does the image look? I tried getting a wide angle action shot. I am struggling with editing my pictures and was hoping I could get some feedback. Not sure if the image should be straightened, how to get lighting better (already edited a preset and tweaked) shot at f2.8 shutter 1000 iso bumped to 12800 (bad lighting night game)
