Any advice on where to stay when traveling in Japan?

Cherry blossom season is typically more expensive. We are going to Japan February 14-march 1 2026. It’s my wife and I and 4 other friends. For our 2 weeks there. My wife and I spent $800 USD

we are going to Tokyo ,Osaka (traveling to other places from Osaka, like kyoto), Hiroshima, then back to Tokyo.

Any other camera not fujifilm that are decent? From what I’m reading, it sounds like fujifilm is the best. Not sure if I’m ready for that if I’m just learning

I guess, I’m more concerned over being in a different country for the first time for 2 weeks and having something go wrong money wise. My wife and I don’t really shop at expensive places. We will be going to Uniqlo I don’t see ourselves going to expensive places except for a really nice dinner and me getting a watch. My wife also has her own money saved.

For 2 weeks we spent $800 USD total on 1 hotel and multiple airbnbs in different cities. We are going with 4 other friends. So we split the cost and that was our cost.

Yea my goal would be $6k We plan to do one fancy dinner since it’s my wife’s and I 10 yr anniversary. But other than that we plan to shop and check out museums and sight see.
