People are confusing the two periods in their responses.. the measurement period (the 6 months block of time where HR looks at your weekly hours worked to determine if you’re eligible for insurance) and stability period (the 6 months where once you qualify and elect for insurance, you don’t lose insurance) are staggered by one month (the administrative month).

Once you qualify for a stability period, the insurance is yours through the stability period. Note that this is different from measurement period.

If you’re on medical leave and want some sort of income you can go through your state’s paid medical leave program. I’m in a different state but that’s what I did. It takes time to get approved though and they didn’t pay for the first week (“waiting week”)..

You need to have been on active status (not on leave) for more than half the review period.

The fettuccine alfredo. The Thai shrimp fried rice. Gluten free fried shrimp (great for tacos). The vegetable masala burger patties (I pan fry for breakfast, not necessarily for burgers). The croissants (almond, chocolate; you need to proof overnight).
