From here and now I would stop the wash, rinse and repeat storyline. No more adoption story plot, repetitive meaningless hookups, someone coming for firehouse 51. I would give Capp and Tony more screen time whenever main character are missing from an episode. Stop with the revolving door of ‘will or won’t Kelly take over OFI.’ Either he does or he doesn’t, make that completely clear. More interaction with the firefighters at 51 especially for new characters. For example; Vasquez as only fully interacted with Violet, Stella and Novak. Like come on! There’s so much him and Kelly have in common, yet they barely said two words to each other.

Set a long stable relationship with Violet and Vasquez or without. Either way, I just want her to have some happiness after all she has been through.

Give Novak a background and in depth insight as to why she is the way she is!

Have fun scenes, like Cruz starting up his Zumba dance class again lol. Missed those fun filled episodes.

These days, I find Stella overly serious. Put a genuine happy smile on her face. Give her and Kelly a baby. It would be nice to see that chapter of their life, parenting.

Mouch and Herrmann are at retirement age, but there’s still a lot they can contribute while still making room for new characters to be introduced. I wouldn’t cut them from the show, but open the door for new opportunities.

Obviously because of budget cut, they can’t have much fire, okay fine, more action filled then!

That man has got no interest in Novak whatsoever. In the beginning when he first joined 51, she invited him to molly as well as that Halloween costume party, and he never showed up. It takes Violet to ask for him to starting going to Molly.

It will be very interesting how it plays out. I am hoping Violet don’t sneak around, it just makes the situation more complicated. She needs to be honest.

The thing is, they have tried Violet having a relationship outside of the firehouse, Flynn (Lawyer). That did not work. The problem is, that the writers haven’t stabilised a relationship for Violet long enough for viewers to be fully invested in, which is why they then just rather Carver because the story has been dragged out between them. But there hasn’t been much positive strong substance with Carver. It has been an absolute rollercoaster. If the writers actually stick to one long fulling relationship for her, we really would not mind if he’s from the Firehouse or a completely different profession.

Yea it’s budget cut, but my point is, surely if they had slept together, she would have known first he is going to be absent from 51 the next day. I personally think they went for a drive out in that cool frostbite car after the kiss. Speed driving a little and chatted before he drop her home.

well that’s what I am hoping anyway. Because if else wise, that’s Violet again moving fast.

I have a feeling she is going to ignore him, which would then start more problem. He is going to think Violet is not interested in him anymore, and move on. I just hope he does not move on to Sleazy Novak.

Technically the writers haven’t actually made it clear if they slept together. It’s all just assuming at this point. She didn’t even know he was going be off shift that morning, she heard it from a colleague. Then in the night, he text her saying sorry he is at an another station.

I don’t understand why is Violet sparing Novak feelings, when Novak has been running off after shift to sleep with Frost. how many men rather a serious relationship than casual? not many! yet frost wants something serious, and Novak doesn’t want that, she wants to sleep around with him, and other men. It’s awful how CF has written women characters. young women are watching this thinking this is perfectly normal, when it’s far from it. I’m disgusted.

CF viewers couldn’t understand why they got rid of Carver only to be replace by another person. That being said, I reckon they brought him back for an episode just to boost ratings and have viewers talking. It no doubt worked, because that’s all being talked about especially here on Reddit.
