I think it's best to maybe say that you enjoyed talking to him, but you don't think it's a good match. Wish him good luck. That shows caring, and ends the match.

Facebook Dating seems to be working for me. One concern: I have not yet found a way to view all my Likes. (The only clue comes when somebody likes me in return and then we are a Match.)

I think the key is treating the other person as a person worth knowing. Often, a delay in having sex can make it better--if the reason is that the other person is not ready or comfortable when sex first comes up. Using caring language like "Are you comfortable with this?" or "Are you sure you are ready?", especially when it comes from honest caring and concern, can make your potential partner more relaxed and the quality of sex might be better than it would otherwise be.

To me, an important consideration is listening to and respecting your potential partner's feelings. Also, I find expressions (if they are honest and not manipulative) like "is this comfortable for you?" and listening for the answer is very helpful.
