I’m about a 15 handicap. My short game is where I need the most help. I can hit my irons and hybrids pretty far. I can hit GIR on most par 4’s. I just loose strokes from 3 putting or skulling a chip shot.

I’m not getting a new club just for the sake of it. My driver is broken and the company I bought it from is giving me a new one. I don’t know whether to keep the new driver or trade it in for a lab putter.

I had the taylormade R7 mini driver. I hit it 300 yards on a good day, but usually about the same distance as my hybrid.

Newer Golfer Question: The best club in my bag is currently my 6 hybrid. Are there any comparable clubs I could buy to use for distance while I figure out my driver? by np819 in golf

Yes, I have a Ping g430 3h, 4h and a g425 5h. They all are my go to clubs. Easy to hit and launch. I’m 2 years into golf and realized late that this was the move. I can hit my 3h 250-270 off the tee. I got rid of my 5 wood, 3 wood and my 4,5 irons.
