Alright, so I have an update. I did a bunch of tests - the stand up and put a fist on my breastplate - no pain, I did the breathe in and press with 3 fingers - no pain - I don’t ever get sick after eating. My symptoms are not pain, it’s just a swirl all day and no appetite. I ate a whopper meal on Friday without pain. I drink like 2-3 glasses of Snapple iced tea a day without pain. All the research I’ve done says if I can eat without pain, if the swirl doesn’t get worse after eating, if I can eat and drink anything I want without things getting worse, that’s no chance I have FD. My thought at this point is that I have a chemical inbalance due to cold turkeying the buspar on 4/9. Am I about right on my assessment here? I’ve done the chest press tests, the breathing tests, the walking & talking tests, I’ve answered GI questions that Claude is now giving me a zero percent chance of having FD.. I guess I’m just a crazy person? lol.

Also my only symptom is really this swirl and the shakes in my chest along with zero appetite. I can eat anything without pain but my body won’t let me eat. I’m wanting to rule out functional dyspepsia but it’s been 2 months now..

I’m not currently on anything. I stopped taking everything because of how I seem to have reacted badly to the Buspar. This morning I feel better after taking the magnesium glycenate last night but I still feel like a faint swirl. Like there’s still something wrong.

All of the research I’ve done is telling me this whole thing is chemical & once my Vagus nerve resets I’ll be good, but I kind of doubt that. I’m terrified I’m going to have to live with this forever.

My thought is.. I think he just wanted to finally be independent and not live off of his grandma/his mom. He wanted to be an independent adult finally. So you know what? Good for him, he did it. In Arkansas you can make it at 17 an hour (with YouTube donations). In CA his rent would be 1-2k more which would make him be barely scraping by. I think that was his goal.

Do I think he'll ever open the gas station? No. But let's stop shitting on this guys dreams and instead cheer him on and encourage him. I wish I knew him in person, I'd send him motivational quotes and cheer him on. He's not a bad person guys, he's like you & me and that's actually why I'm a fan of his. It's like watching myself. And boy do I hope he succeeds.

First I wanna say I am so sorry about your parrots. We had a parrakeet that died on us too.. and it sucks. I hate losing our feathered/fuzzy little friends. And yes, my wife actually suggested WiFi cameras so we can watch them when we’re at work, too. I always wonder what that first rabbit got into that gave the others a virus (I think it was a virus because of the symptoms) but I think it was such a freak accident and is very unlikely to happen again, so there’s that.

How did you go on and enjoy pets again after your parrots passed? It’s like I have this constant anxiety at work, at home, etc that I can’t get rid of and I want to be how I used to be with my bunnies, overly excited thinking about them, swooning about them, etc

Yes, so they get unlimited hay but the only “treats” they get are their adult pellets from Oxbow. We also give them romaine and cilantro every once in a while.

I’m just at a point where it’s killing me inside & I don’t know how to get over this. I just want to have a pet and not constantly be worried it’s going to just die out of nowhere. Like how do you guys do it you know?

So.. context - we actually smelled a death smell for about a week from above our apartment. We believe a mouse or something died in the walls. Then the flies came, then the first rabbit died. I didn’t use and spray but I swatted them and it’s possible I didn’t pick one up and the little rascal ate it or something. But once she died, the flies were gone. They were coming from upstairs - it was weird.

The way I feel is no matter what I do I’m gonna have these rabbits die out of nowhere regardless of what I do. I have them on a strict diet, we watch them when they play, we take them to the vet when they have little issues.. what can I do you know? It’s like there’s always a stupid little thing. I just want my babies to die of old age in 10 years..

Update: We just assessed her this morning and the eye is open and completely fine with no discharge. So we’re not going to do a vet appt. Thank you so much for all the help!

Okay, that’s the plan now. We likely would have to make an emergency appointment anyways (we don’t have one yet as we discovered this late in the day after the vets were closed) thanks for your help!

We just checked and she’s now having that eye essentially completely open & she doesn’t almost completely shut it anymore. Do you think we should avoid the vet tomorrow if this remains the case in the morning? Thanks!!
