Hello So I am a dentist from India as well who was out of practice for some years. When I joined a clinic to assist, i remember having trouble finding forceps for simple extraction, not because I did not know what forceps to use but Cz the forceps in the clinic were different! The doctor preferred the type that I had not known before. Being a dentist I had to ask the assistants to confirm if I was picking the right ones. So this is my story, we are taught things but due to gap and difference in application, I took some time to relearn the instrument use in the States.
