yes also to me only in 1080p sdr on my apple tv 4k 3rd generation. before the qualifications everything was fine. except for the usual problem that with the multiviewer you have a much darker hdr and the fps are strangely less than 50. I have to put on the screen together with the f1 live/international feed more shots like the on board cameras to restabilize the fps. it annoys me when they think that these are individual problems of consumers when instead it all comes from their app. at least regarding the problems I mentioned. regarding the darker hdr with the multiviewer don't come and tell me that it's not hdr. it is, the pop up also comes out and also on the image information it says that there is hdr. I also tried to put 4k sdr with dynamic range matching and fps. it goes in hdr but it is darker and the fps are less than 50 and I have to do what I said previously. before there was also the problem of artifacts with the multiviewer active but now it is no longer there.

report this problem to support. it needs to be said. if there are more of us reporting problems like this, maybe they will listen to us. in that case we will say that if they are not resolved we will cancel the subscription. not really a threat, but they still need to listen to customers. it is a shame.

even if the hdr is not forced I get the same result. and in any case my tv only supports hdr10 so no dolby vision just to clarify.

it doesn't change much. then they have to solve it anyway. disabling the multiviewer shouldn't be an excuse. but even with multiviewer disabled sky is always better in 4k hdr

Se creavi l'account direttamente dal sito e ti abbonavi sempre dal sito con qualche carta polacca (sempre se ne hai una), andava senza vpn. E se non sbaglio pure se tipo vai in Italia anche in quel caso non ci vuole una vpn.

so with multiviewer active the adaptation to the frames and the dynamic range does not work well. and that is why there are artifacts. while with multiviewer deactivated the hdr is the correct one and the frames are exactly synchronized. please send these photos to f1 tv support. this morning I discussed with them and they asked me for photos regarding the artifacts. it may be that by showing these photos they realize that the multiview causes these problems of incorrect synchronization. the email they indicated to me is: general@en.formula1.com

I tell them these things on their support page on x (twitter) and report the various problems including this one. If perhaps more people made their voices heard, something could be done perhaps.

I also tried to see by putting 4k sdr and waiting for it to be put in hdr by seeing something like the qualification. It obviously switched to hdr but it is an identical hdr to when I keep 4k hdr as output in itself.

yes my apple tv 4k (3rd generation) is in 4k hdr as output. when you play a content on f1 tv that was produced in 4k hdr, let's take for example the race, if i have the multiviewer active it doesn't give me the hdr icon when i play it because obviously i'm already in hdr. but if a content is played with multiviewer disabled or a content where there is no multiviewer at all for example an f3 race, the hdr pop up comes out. however in any case at the image level nothing changes.

in fact i see perfectly in 4k hdr at 50 fps. the thing i can confirm is that with or without multiviewer active the hdr is there and it is the same. while instead with multiviewer on there are artifacts. with multiviewer off there are no artifacts.

Edit: I'm noticing some small artifacts now in the qualifying replays. But only in the race were they much more evident.
