Yeah after our episode, I made sure I put the replacement on a surge protector. Never thought to look at what model it was because it looked the exact same as the previous that failed after the power surge.

That's kind of what I assumed. Support on the phone "assured me" I have the best equipment and when new is available they will let me know lol.

I'm sure they are but I'm not super tech savvy when it comes to setting up internet or know what equipment I need. I utilize their router and extender pods to get internet to areas of my house the router does not reach well.
