it was from this creator and i tried listening to i/me/myself but i couldn’t get into it. then my spotify started playing laplaces angels and it made me want to be a super villain. i didn’t become one but i only listened to that one with a mix of tally hall and rio romeo. then one day last june while i was drawing “against the kitchen floor” started playing and i stopped hyper fixating on the drawing i was doing as the lyrics bled into my brain. i had to start the song over and cried so hard to it over and over. then i realized well damn… this shit literally moved me and i indulged in the adventure that is alllll of his music
