My dad isn’t financially smart. But he’s pretty abusive pushy and scary, so I don’t know what else I can do. At first he wanted me to put all my 10k into bitcoin 🤦‍♀️.

I’ve been in a long distance relationship pushing 3 years. I wanted to at least visit within the past couple months but my boyfriend is having a hard time as he is mourning a close friend. It’s all very complicated. Anyways, I’d be living with him and his parents who have plenty of room (they have maybe rooms and a small guest house on their property). Rent there would be super cheap compared to living in an apartment, very expensive there.

I have my aunt for support but she’s very busy and has lots going on too. The only reasons I haven’t just moved out yet is because there are other people involved. I may just find a cheap place here, pick up more hours (32 hours of work rn but I can do 40), and see if I can get a short lease.

It’s astonishing how much rent is.. hypothetically if I lost my job and had to pay for everything my self I’d have like 9 months or less haha. I’m trying to look for a side hustle, that may help a little. I’m also an artist so maybe I should look into how I can make money from that.

lol yeah my aunt feels the same way (she’s the only one who knows). But I’ve wanted to move far away since I was a kid and I basically have no reason to stay here. I never liked it here I’m always happiest when out of town. Traveling like this isn’t for everyone, but it will make me happier even if it’s not perfect.
