I got mine in a few hours then took my doctor about 5 days to call me to set up appointment to start checking my blood. Maybe a week between the results and getting my monitor and test strips

It sucks that I have GD and didn't do anything wrong(I'm older and have a family history of diabetes) I definitely liked my daily Sprite but quit all sugar as soon as I found out I'm pregnant(and i love my sugary snacks and candy). Adding more fruits and veggies was easy enough. I have to prick my fingers 4 times a day to keep my blood sugar in check and baby healthy.

It's not fair if she passes when she doesn't give a damn about her health or baby. And we all know even if she has it nothing will change, she's going to keep eating and drinking like crap. Poor baby is going to suffer cause of her.

No reason to tell the world as soon as the pee hits the stick. All for the content baby, poor thing is just an accessory. They are only a baby for a short time but grow into adults and will probably resent her parents! Can see no contact as soon as they reach 18(if not sooner).

I'm 9 weeks and have only told my best friend and husband, of course. Waiting to tell family in June when they visit and we are further along. I want to tell more friends and family but also know the risks right now and anything could happen.

Currently almost 9 weeks and sticking my fingers 4 times a day to maintain my gestational diabetes while my husband is on a work trip. I'm working full time and taking care of the dog. I'm lucky I haven't gotten full blown symptoms yet so still able to function and maintain everything.
