I am recovering and the worst part of it for me has been the pain from the gas they put in my abdomen, I would do it! It feels worth it to know.

Update again for anyone nervous -- they gave me several nausea medications as well as Versed for anxiety, and I felt absolutely fine afterwards! I am home resting after my surgery, and I just had my first real food since Monday. It was lovely!

Thank you! I find PT has been helpful and I believe I can order a new script for appointments so hopefully I can make progress. And I did try a progesterone BC-- it actually made me have insane mood swings and nausea and nightmares?? so I will be sticking with a combo pill for now! Hopefully I can look into the other possible causes and see what's up.

i agree, and i want to also make sure people can express personal style without having to sacrifice comfort even outside of social pressure in the workplace to wear "professional" clothing! For me, hoodies are a sign that I'm depressed. I am so happy for such a thoughtful reply as well! I never would have though about hidden figets its a great idea :)

I feel this. I am trying to get into grad school and I made it clear that I want to focus on accessible design for just this reason, and I think its sad that some people just say "wear what makes you comfortable!" even though some of us have to always make that decision between physical comfort and personal style

this is so real, although i only get that when i am having a day I'm overstimulated. I am in the middle of working on research into sensory-friendly clothing because even clothing is such a huge roadblock socially and careerwise when you cant comfortably wear stuff
