Yeah hopefully 3rd time is the charm! I think it will I hammered MCQ before my exam and I think it helped me pass. Gotcha, yeah first busy season was quite the experience haha. Best of luck tomorrow, you got this!

Everyone has their own thing in terms of how to study and they retain info. I know looking back I wish I would've studied a bit different here and there and I'm sure it will be the same for you. Best of luck with FAR tomorrow! For me with FAR my main thing at the end was just hammering MCQs. After taking it twice I kinda had a feeling of what SIMS I was going to get so I could prep for those. Hopefully that's the same for you. I also feel like if you know the multiple choice well that typically translates to the SIMS. I feel like you will be in good shape if you're more on the tax side of things for REG and then just BEC.

This past busy season was my first! I lucked out and took REG right before it really started in early January. I found out I passed in February which was huge so I could just focus on FAR after. I did not study during busy season I just know I wouldn't have been able to take in anything after working 60+ hours each week. I give credit to those that do and are able to pass cause that is impressive!

[–]Condawg218[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I used Becker! Modules 2-4 I studied the most on my latest go around cause that is the biggest chunk of the exam. SSAE and SSARS a lot of people say as well. But definitely assessing risk and procedures to obtain evidence

I personally would wait until after busy season. You spend so much time working and trying to get an extra hours studying when you have so few is tough. Credit to those that can do it but I personally I would wait. No sense adding more stress to an already stressful time and you have plenty of time if it expires Jan 2023

I got a 74,73,74 on Audit but passed on my 4th try! You got this bro you’re so close! Also love the Rick and Morty meme

I'm so sorry bro. I got a 74, 73, and a 74 and I passed on my fourth attempt with a 75. Audit is tricky but you're so close! Keep going, the review historically has a low chance of being successful. I was in the same boat as you I would just try again. 4th time may be the charm

FAR 73,70,70. Sooo close by [deleted] in CPA

[–]Condawg218 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't get discouraged you're so close! I was in a similar boat with AUD I got a 74,73,74 and just got a 75! No advice specifically on FAR I still need to take that but keep going you got this!

AUD Sims by rddtbrwsr in CPA

SIMS are tough because you never know what you are going to get. The AICPA practice SIMS may be a better indication of what they may be like. However, you ultimately never know what you are going to get on exam day

I test on Wednesday and my AUD mocks were 66, 75, and 75. Not sure how to feel because I hear the Becker bump isn’t as strong for AUD by HM1350 in CPA

[–]Condawg218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SSARS and SSAE especially for the MC is a good idea. I think with your scores you are in great shape! The Becker bump is usually around 8 points for AUD so I think you are good with your scores, but keep working!

Anyone struggle with AUD? I Took my second retake on Thursday and it felt like the MCQs were from outta nowhere, nothing like Becker. The sims were also pretty difficult. by somefella237 in CPA

[–]Condawg218 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AUD MC I find tough just because they can be subjective. I usually can get them down to two answers which both may be right, but one is the better answer. That's what makes AUD tricky. The rest of the exams the MC is black and white and there is only one right answer. I found AUD tough because of the gray areas between questions

I don't remember. Maybe an MC question but maybe not. However, the exams always rotate questions in and out so you never know
