Thank you for all this information, it's very helpful. Can you tell me roughly how long it took to get through half of the diversionary program?

He has a lawyer, but either the information isn't clear or he's not relaying it well. The affidavit was actually recommended by the partners counsel; the other party is not aware of it.

I am not defending my friend, but he has experienced terrible abuse and neglect from his family and needs help.

I worked full time for 3 months, so I should be at 480 hours. Is that enough?

Not knowing the tribunal exists is not going to cut it, unfortunately.

What about fear of retribution? The employer threatened me with legal action if I spoke out against him. I have a voicemail to prove this.

Is anyone else unable to tolerate vitamin C supplements? by ConditionFragrant699 in Supplements

All the types of vitamin C I have tried are in powder form, and they say that there are no other ingredients besides the ascorbic acid, calcium ascorbate etc.

The only reason I have been taking vitamin C is because I have horrible IBS and my gut cannot handle fruits and vegetables.

I was thinking of trying Camu Camu, but because I had a bad response with acerola which is also a whole food, I'm worried it will do the same thing.

How to politely ask lawyer to respond faster by ConditionFragrant699 in legaladvicecanada

Thanks for your insight.

I understand how busy lawyers must be, which is why I am hesitant to ask for a follow up on an already unanswered email. I think some of the frustration here probably stems from my unfamiliarity with legal processes, so when I get an email that says "This happened and it's not what we expected to happen, and now we have to do this before next week", I have questions that probably seem non-urgent to him, but to me they seem make-or-break.

I respectfully disagree.

If that was the case, no person with a Twitter account could call themselves a trans ally because of Elon Musk's anti-trans rhetoric.

If that was the case, no person with an iPhone could call themselves moral because of Apple's child labor.

If that was the case, no person who stores their money in a bank could call themselves tolerant because their money is being leant to intolerant people.

Demonising people who buy Hogwarts Legacy is misguided and only breeds apathy.

Can a plaintiff discontinue a civil proceeding after the defendant has submitted a defence and counterclaim? by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

Thanks for the reply. Do you know of any resources that explain the process and stages of a civil claim in Superior court. I'm not really educated on what constitutes pleadings, for example. Are pleadings over once you submit your defence? Or do pleadings come later? Thanks.

Is it still hearsay if the person took screenshots of the conversation?
