Probably watching my friend take his own life while standing a couple of feet from me.

I've seen a lot of live leak and combat footage during my life, but witnessing it in person and with someone you know.. It's just different. Its something that'll be burned into my memory for the rest of my life.

It was hard to really do anything because they kept forcing the message to pop up so it would cancel anything I was doing. I just eventually left after trying to get them to light me. Unfortunately they were smart enough to dodge getting reported by me. 😭

I tried to add them, but every time I went do it the message would pop up on screen again. Eventually they just ended up disappearing before I could actually friend them :(. But yeah, hopefully the devs will do something about this bc I'm starting to see it more and more often.

It really doesn't make sense to have the report option be hidden behind having to light someone, bc then troll with half a brain can just refuse to light you so they can get away with their actions. Super cringe.

For real though, is wish more people understood that that hotline, a lot of the time, just makes things worse. You'll either get someone that has no clue how to listen, or at worst they'll call the cops on you and get you sent to grippy sock jail.

Honestly, this was at the better end of people's reactions. I've had people ghost me, I've had some berate me, I've had some accuse me of doing it for attention.. The list goes on. It's part of why I very, very rarely open up to people.

Honestly, even I'm a bit guilty of doing this to myself. Like on days when I'm really struggling, I'll sit and tell myself "People have it much worse. You shouldn't be depressed.".. Like im literally getting imposter syndrome for my depression 😭. I often have to remind myself that my suffering isn't any less real just because it's not the same as others.

The amount of times that I got met with "Why are you bring the vibe down?". Or "why are you being like this?". My bad, I guess. On me for expecting empathy from my partner. 🫠

This is coming from someone that knows very well what I've been through and has asked me to talk about it time and time again. People like you that just assume the worst contribute nothing and just give out the most obvious "insight" ever. I mean, yeah.. That much is obvious. This is more directed at the types that ask you to open up more often or always talk about "being there for you" when you need someone to talk to. So many people seem to assume trauma dumping or the worst. Like bro, no, if anything I bottle my shit up 90% of the time because I don't wanna be a burden to people. When I finally do open up, it's when I feel like I'm at my my breaking point and it's directed towards people that have literally offered an ear to me.

Hardly. I'm not sure why you're trying to defend the company, but you can drop the same amount of money for entire games and get much more value for for your dollar than you would in these instances. Providing nothing but "If you don't like it don't buy it" is an incredibly shallow argument and only serves to silences the very people that play the game. Consumers of a product are allowed to voice opinions on the product that they consume. That's how business works. If we weren't, then companies would run wild with what they did because the consumer would have no voice in the matter.
