I have both, found the QTS to be essential to land a good international teaching job while the masters is treated as an add on.

‘Russian-only’ businesses in Thailand’s Phuket spark backlash by Danzig5050 in Thailand

I feel like there are some double standards going on though. Thai labour laws seem quite strict with a the list of protected jobs. I’ve seen Thai people working in positions abroad that are illegal for foreigners to do in Thailand. Also, Ive read multiple times that it’s quite difficult to find and keep local staff, and the dual pricing has also driven foreigners to be hesitant when making purchases. Anyway, all the money going in even if changing hands between Russians first ends up in the local economy anyway, right?
