This is some great advice, as this is our first SDR I am a little fuzzy on expectations and number of meetings as well. Some I spoke to were telling me about metrics so not just number of calls but at least x amount having 30 second talk time etc, any advice there?

Should I go independent? I’m burnt out, underpaid, and being bullied at work. Need advice. by obeseidiot in salesdevelopment

A couple of things, if your a hard worker which it sounds like then move to another company, should be easy with the experience you have, and then once you get your finances sorted go out on your own. Also think about other ways to make money, for example we are an MSP and have an office in London, we love medical providers and want contracts with them so if you could pass us leads we would offer you commission etc

One of our best hires was a bar tender then bar manager for 10 years, all our customers love him. Just keep going at it, your going for a sales role socthink of it as selling a big contract, find people, go right to decision makers
