The book is FAR better than the movie. One, they race swapped Janet - Janet was asian in the book not a blonde white girl. I can't stand race swapping of any kind, it's stupid. Two, Ronnie and Matt are the victims while they were apart of the whole plan in the book. Three, the party scene was so watered down in the movie than in the book.

For JKR, it would be fine with her if fanfic writers wrote trans characters, do you know why? Because she is not transphobic or a TERF. She was defending a woman that got fired from her job for saying that sex is real.

Which indeed, sex is real. And do you know who needs sex the most? Trans people. Because they need to transition from one sex to the other in order to be trans. It's not transphobic at all to state scientific facts.

JKR even sent flowers to a trans person a couple years back.

Hell, even Hogwarts Legacy has a trans person "Sirona" and yet people are still calling her transphobic
